Assistant Brand Manager
The successful candidates will be required to:
• Assist in implementing brand strategy to grow brands market share volume, value and
profitability.
• Support NPD process (OU dependant).
• Assist in implement pricing strategy/collect and analyse data.
• Assist in delivery of overall budgeted profitability by growing and sustaining brand performance.
• Assist in selection of appropriate trade channels.
• Assist in exploring & exploit new opportunities for the brands.
• Assist in executing approved M&C plan for assigned brands within guidelines.
• Assist in monitoring and reporting brand performance through brand health indicators such as NNS,
GM, MC & key consumer KPIs providing solutions to shortfalls.
• Understand and apply relevant external environment inc consumer insights, competitor activity and
other PZ OU activity (networks).
• Participate in business teams.
• Assist in product life cycle management including demand forecasting including minimising
residuals.
The right candidates must:
• Possess a good university degree in any discipline, preferably in Business Administration.
• Possess first class numerical and communication skills
• Possess two - three (2-3) years experience in a similar role with a reputable/international company.
• Possess high levels of determination and desire to succeed in a result oriented environment
• Be a good team player
• Possess computer expertise especially in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
