Courtesy Visit to Oyo State Governor

Ibadan the capital of Oyo State is one of the largest cities in West Africa. PZ Cussons has been operating there for more than half a century. A PZ Cussons Nigeria team comprising the Cool World Director, MR OLU KOLAWOLE; the General Manager External Affairs, MR TAHIR MOHAMMED and the Corporate Affairs and Admin Director, MRS YOMI IFATUROTI paid a courtesy visit to the new Governor of Oyo State, SENATOR ISIAKA ABIOLA AJIMOBI.

The objective of the meeting was to congratulate the governor on his victory at the polls, seek his endorsement to formally open the new Cool World in Ibadan as well as to discuss expansion of PZ Cussons commercial activities in the capital and Oyo State as a whole. A presentation of the new Cool World vision was unveiled to His Excellency who showed surprise at some of the new range the company is now marketing.

In his response, he promised to be physically present at the opening of the showroom on the date chosen by us and would like to see PZ invest in what he calls a ‘ONE STOP SHOP’ for our products like the former Kingsway outlets of the 70’s. He promised to make the necessary infrastructure available if PZ shows any interest in this direction.
