Head of Sales

The successful candidates will be required to:

• To drive the sustainable commercial viability of the products within the SBU.
• To drive the forecasting of future sales volumes to assist with the commercial strategic plan.
• To achieve the agreed profitable sales volume and value targets.
• To enable the Sales Force to maximise sales via delivery of the Sales drivers objectives
Distribution and rate of sale drivers at retail.
• To ensure the effective journey planned coverage of outlets as specified by trade strategy.
• To be responsible for the development & implementation of the Sales strategy.
• To build the Sales Force capability via embedding coaching as a way of life within the field sales
organization.
• To feed into the demand process to optimise the quality, accuracy and clarity of inputs as a
critical factor in the wider business sales and operational objectives.

The Person: 

The right candidates must:
• Possess a good university degree in any discipline, preferably in Business Administration
• Possess first class numerical and communication skills
• Possess above ten (10+) years successful experience at sales management level with a reputable /international company, ideally in the food industry.
• Possess computer expertise especially in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Possess high levels of determination and desire to succeed in a result oriented environment
• Be a good team player but with the ability to drive the team to unsurpassed success
• Be mobile and willing to be flexible in terms of location
