• Mbamba is a small community with a population of about 3000 located in Yola South Local Government, Adamawa state.
• The people are predominantly farmers and petty traders with very low income without basic amenities and therefore exposed to health hazards among other social risks.
• The Mbamba Bamako Community Initiative was formed to support the community and had approached the PZ Cussons Foundation for assistance.
• The Foundation chose to donate a Community Health centre which was commissioned on November 2, 2010 by the Permanent Secretary Adamawa State Ministry of Health Dr. Emmanuel Binjo.
