Partnering with Cross Rivers State Government

The Cross Rivers State democratic administration has been providing empowerment programmes, especially in agriculture aimed at reducing poverty among its people
by encouraging citizen’s participation in a variety of programmes. However, established gender roles, stereotyping and sensitivity have tended to affect the effective participation of women in these programmes

Program called Citizenship Participation in Empowerment Programme in Agriculture Scale
(CIPEPAS) is an on going project with the Governor.

PZ Cussons Foundation has been requested to join hands with the Government in taking this project or some other to more communities.

The Board of Trustees has approved release of funds depending on the scope.
